Elite Force race pistol- slide locks on each shot
16 August, 2013, 10:00
Hi All,
I have a new elite force race pistol, which I actually really like!
THe only issue I have is the slide locks on every shot, this isn't ALL the time but a lot of the time.
I've got no idea how to strip it as its not your normal pistol by any stretch of the imagination!

Did it not come with instructions? Why not ask the shop you bought it from?
The laptop is mightier than the pistol.

haha yes, but it doesn't detail how to break it down!
I will be at the start of sept, but I only see the shop once a month at a skirmish, this was is quicker if someone has experience of working with one

Looking at it, it seems you will need to remove the front comp of the gun and then it looks 1911-ish so you push the slide lock out from the right side.
This is a guess though...

The issue is probably lack of lubrication as most pistols come dry. / unlubed out of the box . It needs to be lubed to operate properly and reduce wear on the metal parts sliding on each other. Use
Froglube , silicone spray etc not wd40 or 3in 1 oil as I have witnessed in the past ..

Doh didn't even consider that as an option, went straight to thinking it must be the slide catch or something!
And yes, working ONLY with GBBR I have a healthy supply of silicone thanks ;-)
