Removing WE G39 Barrel

To anyone with experience of this particular gun;

I'm trying to remove the outter barrel so I can access the hop unit and inner barrel, but the barrel nut is so rock solid nothing will move it. I've tried as much force as I dare put on it, and I've looked at plenty of disassembly videos but it is just...stuck.

Any ideas?

Mole grips. Or a hammer and screwdriver/chisel.

There's so much lock tight in there it's untrue. Just be a brute really.

Managing to get it off with some serious hair dryer heat!

Kind of ruined the nut (or whatever it's called) though, although cosmetic I may replace it, or just wait until I buy the RAS kit

Mine was very stiff first time round, just stick a flat head in there and be a man.
