For the air seal side of things (o rings etc) you want silicone oil. For the metal on metal parts use a dry ptfe spray. I use wurth high performance dry chain lube. It puts a thin, dry film of teflon on the metal. The advantages of this is being dry, it attracts less shit, and it doesn't spread and fly about when firing. It's designed to lube chains on 200 mph motorbikes so it can certainly deal with a bit of friction.
Edit: I've used lithium grease on pistols with no adverse effects.
