Glock 17 mag

Just a quick one.

I've just had a glock mag explode in my face and the long screw that holds the bottom in has stripped its thread. Can anyone tell me the thread size? Not sure if it's m4x80 or m3x80.

The internal thread in the magazine is likely damaged too. I would write it off and just buy a new magazine.

Seems to be a lot more thread on the inside than on the screw itself. I'll just take it into work and helicoil the thread if it's that knackered.

Well you could email the glock company in Austria or tell us the MAKE!!!!!!

M3 if its the same as KJW mags. Don't know if there will be enough support metal to take a helicoil.

+1 for pinned mags though!

Sell mag on eBay and buy a new one with the profit. Those fools will buy anything
