Glock 17 4th gen not fully sliding

I guys i am relativly new to airsoft and i recently purchased a glock 17 from a friend of mine.
I am having a problem as to the slide of the gun doesnt go all the way back.
i have tried my glock 17 with a top slide from another glock 17 and it worked fine.
any ideas what could be wrong with it ?

Well it's properly not a problem with your lower because another side worked fine, so it's properly the slide, check slide for damage (ie rail grooves) ensure the spring guide is installed right (my WE glock spring guide has to be put in the right way or it won't work right, is there a flat bit on the retaining ring at the front of the spring guide, if so this should facing up at you when you have the slide upside down) ensure the outer barrel moves free in the slide.
