Hi there, I have an old TM G17, and when you get towards the end of a magazine, when the gas is starting to cool down, the gun starts to fire in 2-5 round bursts instead of semi, but it's fine with a warm, full magazine.
could there be a worn sear somewhere that could be causing this?

More likely the hammer is going far back enough to strike the valve again, but not far enough to catch the sear.

Take the gun completely to bits and give it a good clean/sparing re-lube, see if that changes things

Took it all down, trigger bar was worn down and bent, from too much use. Got a Guarder steel one now, seems to have cured the problem.
