WE GBB M4 upper and lower receivers wont fit

hello,

recently had the gun open to fix another issue, when i now come to put ti back together the two half's wont fit. I have removed the bolt carrier to eliminate any of that being the issue so its something to do with the frames themselves, the gap is only about 2mm tho which is very infuriating.

basically it all goes well putting them together until the last few mm's and then the upper slides the 2mm toward the barrel end of the gun. I cant see what it is thats causing this to happen

Is there any play in the upper receiver when it's together, the spring loaded rear body pin should hold it flush in place once it's through. If you haven't changed anything with the front pin the only reason for the gap is a wide tolerance, and that would have been there to begin with. Try and fit the rear pin through.

the front pin will go in but the rear one wont go in at all as the holes dont line up enough. The parts dont have any play, actually fit very nicely when its working

You tired pairing the two halves without the front pin, then seeing if the rear one lines up? It's a bit of a mystery this one. Check there nothing on the front of the lower receiver which could space out the pin when it's together

yea i have, thats the really annoying thing just cant see what the problem is. If i hold the upper receiver up a bit it will fit in properly then as i try to lower it into position, over the last cm something pushes it ever so slightly forward

check your buffer tube isn't screwed in too far

Check the rear screw holding the trigger group is in all the way

said hadn't changed anything with the front pin :P it had been in complete pieces while i was fixing something else

I literally did the exact same thing with my 416 yesterday lol
