kwa kmp9 help needed...problem identified solution needed
29 April, 2014, 19:01
Hi
Really need some help I'm wanting to sell my mp9 but don to let it go whilst not working so I need your help so I can get my dream aeg the one I wanted from starting airsoft an m14 ebr.
Right so parts affected are 162 153 and 26
Will put some picks up tommorow
The hammer stays down when the trigger is pulled give the little sprung shuttle that catches it a poke and it will release on the next trigger pull
It has been cleaned and re greased just in case but still not working.
Thanks all will post pics tommorrow

Bottom of receiver little oval is the bit your looking for

Hope my description makes sense now.
Basically rack the slide and the hammer stays down.
The shuttle with the little oval holds is down until the trigger is pulled, only its not releasing.
You can see the difference in the pics when it sits correctly the whole is smaller
I don't want to order parts from kwa for them to be wrong.
If you know what this might be shout out.
Cheers all

I am going to hazard a guess that the gun has been stripped with the insides being at least partially cleared of the plastic housing.
The first time I re-assembled my MP9 I did this exact same thing.
You need to partially strip it again and move that part into position as you rebuild the gun.

Ok will definitely assemble and re assemble and then update the thread in a few days time. Thanks so far, keep the opinions coming though just in case.

Hey sorry for late reply.
Not going to get a chance to take it apart anytime soon. Life getting in the way. Keep the suggestions coming and if this looks like it is going nowhere fast the mods can bin it. I will keep viewing and replying but not going to set about the gun for a while.
Cheers all.
