WE Beretta M9 goes into auto
11 May, 2014, 11:37
Every now and again my Beretta M9 goes into full auto and empties the mag, sometimes it just let's all the gas out.
I've serviced it, as best as I can, but it still does it.
Any ideas on how I can fix it?

Re: WE Beretta M9 goes into auto
The hammer spring (sometime the mech as well) is the normal cause as they wear quite quickly compared to other guns, every Airsoft berretta I have owned does this sooner or later.

Thanks. Do you think it's worth fixing or should I just replace it?

Re: WE Beretta M9 goes into auto
If you can live with it leave as it has a small advantage but goes through gas and if you are up close no one will thank you for (inadvertent) full auto up close.
Changing the spring is easy but be very careful of the safety spring under the right hand grip as it has to go in just right.

Thanks. Think I'll just live with it. If it gets worse I might try to fix it.
