Hi I want to put a sling plate at the base of the stock tube of a G&G m4 gbb, are there any tools that I need to do it, and how do I go about doing it?

Mine seems to be attached to the receiver with a Phillips head screw inside the receiver, as my buff tube seemed losse so tightened the screw and that solved it, I am guessing it can be unscrewed and when you remove the buff tube you can just slot a sling loop in place and re tighten as mine comes with a sling loop already attached between the receiver and the buff tube.
