  • ASG Glock hop up rubber / bucking

I recently bought a second hand pistol (My first!) and since it wasn't new I thought I would give it a really thourough strip, clean and lube. When I got to the hop up rubber I found it to be perished, and that may explain the crazy high hop I was getting from the gun.

ANYWAY. I bought a new rubber bucking, and I'm going to install it tonight. The question is, do I lubricate the inside/outside of the bucking? I've read all kinds of things on the internet.

My intuition tells me that it works by friction, so only lube on the outside to stop it drying up badly and aid it slipping in for installation and adjustment... But then again I am an idiot

    Thoughts?

No lube needed all the lube it needs is in you regular airsoft brand gas

Thanks a lot, I installed it as per. Seems fine. Got other problems with the gun, but I think a new thread is in order for that!
