we v2 open bolt mags

so ive treated myself to the scar open bolt that ive wanted for ages and got 6 mags to suit, it works beautifully and will soon be upgrading to npas etc in time, my only question is what is the little switch on the top of the mags for? the one right next to where the gas comes out that can lock the spring bit at the back of the mag down

Its for the bolt lock function
one position lets the mag keep firing once its empty
the other position will make it stop firing when empty
