TM MP7 bolt lock back
24 June, 2014, 12:27
So like it says my mp7 sometimes has isses locking back the bolt as soon as a mag is empty, once some gas is bveen used it gets closer to locking back when the mag is empty straight away but that changes after about 30-40 shots. So have anby of you had this issue? if so how did you fix it? buy new followers? stretch the mag spring? i thought about using ptfe tape but i know it probably wont stay on the follower :/ there is a small mark on the follower from wear btw but i doubt it is whats causing it

Re: TM MP7 bolt lock back
when you've got the empty magazine in the gun and you pull back the cocking handle, does the bolt stay back? if so, it's not a problem with the follower/lock and it's probably more that your bolt isn't travelling far enough back.

Re: TM MP7 bolt lock back
cycling by hand is fine, when i rack the bolt it locks back.
so should i file off a little bit of the buffer spring in the back of the bolt?

Re: TM MP7 bolt lock back
update
the bolt locks back every time when the stock isnt retracted at all, but once you retract the stock it struggles to lock back, i have zero clue why this is the case
