GBB Glock - Slide locking back 1 BB too early.

Hi all,

I have a fairly new KWA ASG G17 that's developed a slight annoyance.

When running a whole mag through, the slide locks back despite still having a bb left in the mag. There is plenty of gas left in the magazine, and I can't for the life of me figure out what is causing this.

Any ideas?

Does it do it if you cock repeatedly by hand?

Nope. I just did the following test.

Ran a mag through using gas - Locked back early.
Ran a mag through by hand - Locked back normally once empty.
Ran two mags though using gas - Locked back early both times.
Ran a mag through by hand - Locked back normally once empty.

I have had a similar problem with my WE P228 recently locking back before finishing a magazine, I have been using Propane in it which seems to be making the slide lock bounce when fired causing it to lock up, tried it with Predator gas and WE green gas and didnt have any problems. It only seems to have done it with a particular magazine i had as well which looked like it was sitting very flush with the nozzle inside the pistol compared with the other two magazines i have which might be why it was happening.

Hmmm.... I do need another mag anyway so will probably buy a new one once I get some money and go from there.

I'm using Guarder gas at the moment. Might try something else

Could be that the slide lock has been bent so that it sits a bit higher and the vibration is enough for it to catch
