I recently picked up a bargain WE1911 gents and to say the gas consumption on the single stack mags is poor is quite an understatement.
are there any fixes to perhaps get closer to one fill per mag?
obviously apart from buying a tm lol

Re: We1911 meu
Check the mag catch isn't worn down asking the mag not seat properly.
Lube the piston so it moves easily.
Rub some lube on the top gas port rubber to help it seat and not let gas escape when firing.
I always pump my gas on my 1911 mags, fill for 3 seconds them pump more in a few times.
Due to the size of the mag you will only get one full mag of bb's with a gas fill.

Re: We1911 meu
I had a socom gear novak pistol same single stack magazine, and yeah gas consumption was appaling on it circa 6 shots then nothing, a strong gas works on it, also like simon said check the rubber is seated proper with the cylinder, the piston inside the cylinder tends to be pretty pants, the one in my socom gear was a tiny seal in a massive cylinder it just would not seal up properly and i doubt it really sealed up when firing either.
