We glock 18c help
21 August, 2014, 16:41
Hi guys
I've got 2 things I'd like to sort in my glock.
The first is the slide color it seems to have faded to a gray color? Is this normal?
And the slide doesn't return to the right place all the time. At first I thought it was the recoil spring so I polished and lubed that up which helped. But I've just taken it out its box and tried it and it was getting stuck again. I'm Guessing it's something at the back?
See the color difference between the 17 and 18c slide

Slowly rack the slide until you feel where the resistance is, make a mark with something, then take it apart and look for and blemishes or dents, then smooth them out. Had a similar thing with my sig.

Had a look Last night and it looks like the wheel had been rubbing away the blow back unit slightly. That's not normal is it?
