Tokyo Marui 1911 magazine base plates

Hi guys,

Could anyone tell me if you can fit the Wilson combat type base plates that come on Marui's meu magazine (chrome magazines) will fit on the black m1911 old type magazines?
Wondering for future project.

I dont think they fit, I think the base of the magazines have a different shape and there is no new plates available for the 1911A1. Check out 'Rob La Zouche Custom Workshop' he has a video on different mags and explains it better than I can
