High CAPA 5.1 blowback?

hello all i recently through a swap have got a WE high capa 5.1 Gov model


worked perfectly until i bought new Green gas for it Zero one.

i gassed mag up as ever and fired, the gun sounded alot louder and on top of this the blow back seems to jam together. it seems the thing that stops it fully cycling and makes it "open" if you flick it out seems to now be in the way causing the problem.. any ideas ?....... can provide Video via msn for any one who could help if they dont understand

Do you mean the slide lock is catching? What gas were you using before?

slide lock yes, on green gas before and got the Z1 stuff now

the plastic black part that pushes new bb into barrel locks into barrel

ok that isn't that slide lock

the plastic fin in part of the loading nozzle and if that is broke of flimbsy , it means a new one mate,

have given in to zero one but worried about cost...

any idea parts wise? as labour i think will be about 30-£ mark

You can buy a blowback chamber for less than £20 and fit it yourself. Look at youtube videos

Edit just seen you gave it to Z1. They won't charge that much labour i doubt as it is an easy job

well gave it in and the guy said ill give it a clean and see what it does
about 20 mins later he comes out and saying i dont know will have to leave it here and we will call you next week.

so fingers crossed money wise.

Whenever Ive given Z1 a broken gun of mine, theve always fixed it for free.

Yer, it depends whats wrong. Ive been lucky and they have replaced a piston and some severed wiring for free. Not sure how easy WE parts are to get though....

Would be grateful to know what the fix for it is. (I have a hi-capa doing pretty much the same thing)

it is the blowback chamber ,

this is the loading nozzle , loading nozzle recoil springs, piston head, piston valve, gas engine and cage,

the whole lot can be obtained for 24.99 from a chinese auction site ,

other wise will be in the uk and just google them listed parts

Update:

basically there was a foreign object in the gun which caused it all to lock up spew gas and not load. alot of things were wobbly.

zeroone charged £15 and collecting tomorrow. will post what they said up here tomorrow for those of you interested
