WE p226 BB role out of barrel

Took my pistol apart to clean and when I out it back together bbs are just rolling out the barrel after I fire. Any ideas what's causing this?

I've put it together many time all with the same result.

Too much hop, or the hop rubbers become mishapen when you put it back together

Have a look down the barrel, chamber to muzzle, with it out of the gun.

Is the rubber a neat circle around the inner barrel? Get a bb, and push it through manually. Does it take a fair bit of effort?

Can't get back into the hop unit again as the threads on the little screws have gone. Guess I'll have to get a new hop unit, bucking and barrel package.

Not necessarily. Have a look and see what it looks like. If it does look mishapen, you may be able to get it all in the right place with some poking with a small screw driver

But I can't get into the hop unit, the screw has totally lost its threading tried a number of screwdrivers.

Seen is WE-Tech Complete NG3 Inner Barrel and Hopup Unit, will that fit in a regular WE F226?

If the thread on the screw has gone get a thick elastic band and place over the screw apply pressure and turn ccw it should get the screw out

Thanks ReconRabbit that worked Had a look at the hop rubber and it seems in shape however it comes on and off the barrel with very little effort. Think it's expanded

No worries bud its happened to all of us at some point , and that's not good bud guess you need a new hop rubber, or try heating it on a radiator to shrink it a bit maybe...

To be honest I want to upgrade it so going to get that WE-Tech Complete NG3 Inner Barrel and Hopup Unit, it just drops in the slide and happy days

Would a new hop up rubber cause the BB rolling out?
I've installed a NineBall bucking after all the reviews and at home I fired 3 mags through it (no problem). As soon as I arrived on site, BB's were rolling out, but gun was cycling fine.

in the afternoon, 2 in 3 shots the BB would roll out of the barrel. The other shot would cross the firing range at Ground Zero with no problem.
