WE Sig P229 Keeps jamming - double feeding

I have a gas WE sig P229 pistol which keeps jamming. When you cock the gun one pellet is fed into the barrell and another pellet moves a couple of mm forward in the magazine and the slide does not move forward fully. The slide is about 1cm from sliding fully forwards. The gun has been cleaned and slide operates fine when dry firing. Any ideas what the problem may be.

Check the gas nozzle for cracks or splits first also have you tried a different mag?

gas nozzle appears ok and same issues with another mag.

Check the feed part of the nozzle. Had the same problem with my 228 and found the feeder on the nozzle was bent upwards
