    WE XDM 3.8 Compact

    Hi, not too long ago my XDM started firing burst or full auto sometimes without even pressing trigger but from cocking the slide. I spoke to a tech at my site who said it could be the hop unit has chipped or the hammer set is bust but I didn't have it with me on the day to show him. Just curious to whether or not anyone has had this problem and whether they've fixed it, thanks.

    I'll post pictures if needed away from the pistol at the moment though.

    I have on an older Xdmc and found it was the bottom of the hop chamber had snapped and was a simple repair and easy to spot
