What do the degree differences in a hop up rubber do?

The numbers refer to the hardness of the material used. The higher the number the harder the rubber. Softer rubbers are better for lower power and harder for higher fps etc. Obviously this isnt a solid rule and can vary depending on AEG, Nub type, barrel bore or bb weight.

Awesome thanks baz, as you probably seen from my last post, im thinking about getting a diffferent one for the glock but there is so many to choose from lol..

I use a guarder clear in all my standard power stuff. and an H nub if it'll take it.

I can't post the links here but most companies seem out of stock at the moment. The last few I got were from a well know internet auction site.

found some but seem to be the longer AEG versions only about at the moment.. shame
but ill see what i can find either after christmas then or if i need to, grr if i did not have my brother-in law round id check now lol..
