WE 1911 upgrades

im looking for place to get the part to replace the barrel and hop up. I am looking for PDI 6.01 barrel and a nineball hop rubber. If not something close to that and is there any other parts il need to change i have done the mag mods

Hi mate, the whole upper slide internals are compatible with TM - Look for TM 1911 upgrades inside the slide (no pun intended!)

i know that is can use TM parts looking for a place to get them from any how like the review you did on the 1911

Oh right. - Look on asian websites, a hint would be a hobbyist with an E in asia. A bad riddle, but easy to figure out.

I'd go for a 6.03 myself, and not bother with the nine ball rubber. With a 6.01 and a nineball rubber you are at risk of going over 350fps (assuming this is your site limit for pistols).

My otherwise stock TM 1911 (which should be roughly the same stock fps as WE) does 340-45fps with a 6.03 TB installed, at room temperature.

Can't remember where, but I've seen grouping comparisons of 6.03 vs. 6.01, whilst 6.01 provided more power, better groupings were achieved with the .03.

Any rubber should do fine, although some of them can be quite expensive for what you get. See if you can find a stock TM one, if you aren't happy with the WE's rubber.

An you should be able to get it all from ehobbyasia.

But, yeah - Whatever then. - 6.01 is not worth it, too much cleaning and a risk of getting way over 350fps.

Should be good. Their AEG barrels are supposed to be excellent - go for it.
