TM Detonics, Hammer catches on slide?

First off, this pistol is fairly old - it's been my trusty sidearm since I started playing airsoft, 7/6 years ago. As with all my gear, it's been looked after well and this id the first problem it's thrown at me...

So basically the hammer is catching on the rear of the slide, causing it to misfire and jam. I'm about to take the pistol down and see what I can do, but can anyone offer any pointers?

Is there a way of making the hammer sit lower when cocked?

Try re tensioning the 3 finger spring in the grip. Mine was giving me misfires & it was this that caused it.

Cheers, will give that a go. Guessing the part that connects to the hammer sear?

It's part 20 in this blow up. I think this is a RS pistol but the part's the same
