G23f a few spare parts too many..
27 May, 2010, 16:06
hi all, just bought a G23f off these very forums. it was in bits when i bought it so i knew i would have to re-build it.
i thought "how hard can it be?"
now i've been following the G18 and G17 manuals ~(the exploded diagrams) and i seem to of put everything back right.
yet i still have bits left over. such as..
1 spring (about 1inch long) i assume this is a spare, since i had two identical springs and they are both now in the gun.
1 small ball bearing. although it is larger than the 1 i used for the hop. is it just a spare/different size ball for the hop?
1 threaded bolt/bar about 1cm long with a dia of about 1-1.5mm.
also, the gun is not working, which is why i'm hoping i've missed something out. does anybody have any pictures of a g23 being stripped? or a video? i've tried looking but found nowt.

no worries guys.
sorted it, the ball bearing i had left goes into the selector switch housing.
pure win. £40 for a G23f.
on a side note, are the top slides on glocks normally quite loose?

how loose? my g18 is a little wobbly, bout .5mm at front ant nout at back (slide forward), to cope with full auto.
