Complete custom berretta, is this doable?

As per usual, thanks for any advice given i really appreciate it!

So, i really want a S.T.A.R.S berretta and i really want it to stand out. But i dont like plastic slides, so i want one full metal, so this is what i think i have to do. I need a laser mount and pistol laser which i can easily get so thats no problem. Now here's the thing, getting a metal slide is no problem (apart from the cost obviously) but the problem is that it wont have all the s.t.a.r.s iconography so what would be the point i hear you say. So does anyone know of any method OR person who can ingrave a metal slide. Unless theres a better way in which case let me know!

Take it to your local jewlers or trophy store (just the slide) and ask them to do it.

im in exactly the same boat as you mate.

i have checked, jewlers, engravers, even engineers workshops and no one has said they will be able to do it.
it needs specialist machinary (not a man from timpsons the cobblers who also does pet tags) to cleanly and crisply engrave into metal with consistent font accuracy.

iv been pondering this one for about 2 years

Assuming the slide will be aluminum, I know a man who can lazer engrave it for a reasonable price. Not sure on his workload right now though. I'll ask him to check this thread out. He may be up for earning some extra money.

Asked in there, they say it shouldn't be a problem, just send them an email with details, and they'll give you a quote. That's just one example. I'm sure there's other places that'll do it if your google-fu is strong.
