TM Glock 17 mag problems
15 July, 2010, 22:27
I have four TM Glock mags. Two of them feed flawlessly and the other two have exactly the same jamming problem. They both seem to feed the first two shots fine and then the rest of the rounds become 'stuck.' It's almost as if the 'canal' in the mag is too wide and allows them to become too squashed togther to be pushed by the spring because they just sit there until I poke them with something to get them moving.
Is this a common (or more importantly solvable) problem?
Cheers.

What do you recommend? A 'spray them with some lube' kinda good clean or a 'take them apart' kinda clean?

both would be a good idea no good just droping some lube down the channel just for the lube to atract the crud that may be in there.

Carefully remove the pins (and put them somewhere safe!).
Remove the spring, guide and pokey bit. Clean inside the place where the BB's stack well. Then reassemble.
It's pretty easy to do. Usual cause of jamming is just grit normally!
