hi,
i've got a problem with my usp (not system 7) in that the hammer has loads of play in when its fully cocked meaning when the pistol fires and the slide recoils the hammer grinds on the bottom of the slide causing it to jam. Anyone have any ideas? :D

I have this problem with my TM 1911 with guarder kit. I had to file a smidgeon off the hammer to prevent it from doing it. nevertheless it still does it very occassionally. Have you don any upgrades or stripped it down recently.

thanks for the reply. All the springs have been upgraded... could it be because the hammer spring is too strong?
