  • Gas options for an AGM M4 GBB

    Guys ,

I've got a AGM m4 coming in the post this week.
What I'd like to know is regarding options on gas types.

I don't want to be sticking green in it and thing blowing up in my face,
but then again I don't want to be getting a lower pwoered gas and it not having enough power to operate the machanism properly.

The gun will be totally standard with no internal upgrades .

So , any owners of the AGM M4 , what do you use and what's your experience with different gas types ?

    Cheers,
    Andy

You can use anything really, green or 134. Depends on what sort of kick/fps you want.

On green mine used to kick them out at about 350ish fps, but they vary a lot.

The internals are supposed to be designed to take green with no problem though.

I thought that on 134a there wasn't really enough power to cycle the bolt properly. I think that Green or Top gas is the way to go, but Ultra could be a compromise...

It'd be worth checking this thread in the Reviews section.

i used green gas on mine ,

          no problems

can upgrade to propane , but need to upgrade a fwe fital parts internally , also the seals in the mags and also the bolt would need to be replaced with the npas kit
