  • Tanaka Browning Hi-power - gas leak

Just taken delivery of this beastie.
    Have two problems.
1- After gasing up the mag, when I load it into the pistol it vents off.
2- If I successfuly load up a gassed up mag, it leaks away in about 20 to 30 minutes.

I bought a spare mag at the same time and this happens to both.
I am using the gas recomended by the manufacturer, but I have no idea why this is occuring

If the mag holds gas well until you put it in the pistol I would suspect that the valve on the back of the mag may be sitting proud (has not been put back in properly). It may also be a problem with the 'hammer mechanism' pushing onto the valve.

There is a square plate on the back of the mag, when empty it sits on the valve itself , slide it down so it's off the valve and gas it up.
