Gas mags

Is it true that when not in use, you need to store a little bit of gas in the nag to stop the seals drying out?

Yup a little pressure keeps the seals pushed in the right shape, and the silicone mix keeps them from drying out

I always put a quick squirt of maintenence gas in after a skirmish.
