WE Hicapa 5.1 mag catch problem

i have recently purchased a WE hicapa 5.1, and it has suddenly sarted to not lock back after the last shot is fired. even on a full mag of gas, it doesnt seem to catch.

please help.

the slide is held back by the bb follower in the magazine , if this is broken the slide will not lock back. The follower is easy to break if whilst filling the mag. with bb`s you let the follower slip out of its notch and fly upward, it has enough force to break the tip of the bb follower off. Ask me how I know this....???

You can buy replacement polycarbonate lips for the hi capa magazines.

If you leave the magazine empty (no rounds) and insert it in the hi capa, it should lock back - the spring follower forces the slide catch to go upwards, catching the slide.
