we gbb m4 silencer/barrel

Just got myself a we gbb m4 cqb, i am looking to install a silencer to achieve the look i want but was wondering whether to increase the length of the barrel to increase the accuracy. Any recommendations on parts and set up? being my first gbb and first use of a silencer opinions would be greatly appreciated...........

in effect that is my question, i like the look, but if i can benefit on performance i would modify as such, like i said ive never really even looked at silencers full stop let alone on a gbb

Well you have 2 choices:

1. Get a silencer and modify it so it will silence the gun abit.

2. Get a longer barrel and get tighter grouping.

Or you could get a massive one and compromise the two.

ARGH.

airsoft is not real life, longer barrel does not nesscairly = longer range.

very short barrels (e.g. MP5K) can have a detrimental effect, but in general they don't make a huge difference.

You've got the chrome tightbore in it so accuracy will be pretty good.
Silencer will look good but I never found it would reduce noise that much on a gbb but I might not have the best one.
