Need help

Hi I’ve just got what I think is a Dan Wesson revolver 8, looks the double from all the pics I’ve seen. But last owner was young and fort it would look cooler scratching everything off. Can just see bits of golden lettering and a golden circle which ant on the handle. But can’t find any pics of that model with the marking in same place or layout as mine. Does any other brand do the same gun ?
