TM Glock 17 spring upgrade advice
4 December, 2010, 11:42
Looking to put a stronger recoil spring in a TM Glock 17 with Guarder metal slide.
I want it to still cycle and lock the slide back fine even when cold.
Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi flow valve in the mag to be sure would be my other upgrade.
All my metal slide guns are going to get them when i can afford them.

Re: TM Glock 17 spring upgrade advice
my advice is don't waste money on harder recoil springs if you want it to lock back. Think about it putting in a harder spring will make it harder to cycle same with hammer springs .If anything take a couple of coils off the stock recoil spring will help I did it on my 226 hammer & recoil springs .Throwing more gas out with high flow mag valves will not help for winter useage. Its much better to make the gun more gas efficient than throw more gas into it . Tight bore barrel ,better piston head, and 9ball hop. Metal slides do not like the cold either your better off making a gun for winter and keeping ,and your pimped one for good weather
