STAR AW338 0-rings, need help :(
4 December, 2010, 19:23
Looks as though i am in need of repalcing the o-rings as when i try and fill the mag (inlet valve) using a can of gas its just kicking it all back into my face through the inlet valve....
Anyone tell me what size o-ring i need or do i neeed a complete new inlet valve?
Also, whilst im at it what o-rings do i need for the rest of the magazine?
I have seen STAR and ARES p-ring packs but are they for the sniperrifle only or for both sniper and magazines?
Cheers

They sell them but is only for the Rifle
first thing is to do mate is look and see ofthe inlet valve has snapped due to over tightening
then check orings
Soak them in silicone oil
if still carries on time for new valve

You should buy a new inlet valve. I had the same problem with my CheyTac and when I went to a hardware store to look for the o-ring the guy started to laugh!
And always keep the mag under pressure always keep a small amount of green gas, to keep the o-ring in tension and the same keep them lubed with the silicon oil in the green gas.
