New hammer spring compatability

Hi all, need a new hammer spring for my WE 1911, but i'm wondering whether the hammer spring sold for the TM 1911 will fit instead? I'm guessing they're inherentely the same or even identical, workmanship aside... I only ask because i've had trouble finding one specified for a WE, cheers
