How to replace o-rings?

Ok, so i have a desert eagle, and a mac11, both with leaky mags, just wondering how do i go about replacing the o-rings? Is it a hard task? How do i know what size to go for?

Have you tried cleaning and regreasing the o-rings??

Worth a try before you replace them

No, i don't even know how to get into the mags if i'm honest! Where abouts on the mag is the o-ring? Is it at the top, where gas is entered into gun, or at bottom, where the valve is?
