  • Tanaka M700 Co2 Mag

So I've got me a Co2 mag. But when I put the Co2 bulb in the regulator and then open the valve on the regulator to let the Co2 through the tubing that connects it to the mag, the Co2 just vents out the top of the mag (the little brass coloured circle at the top of the mag)

If I close the bolt I feel the gas coming through the barrel.

I get the feeling I might have blown the seal at the top of the mag, but not sure how I would know for sure or what replacement parts I would need.

    Any help is much appreciated.

take your mag apart, they are quite simple internally

The strike plate moves a sprung rod which moves a cam which then opens the release valve

lube what moves, check your springs and re assemble.

Got this sorted thanks turns out it was just the valve that was sticking
