Thread pitch on most gun barrels

Can anyone help me with the thread pitch found on most 14mm cw/ccw barrels? Specifically WE M4's & Scars.

I've tried searching, but all I can find is "fine thread". Does that mean 1.0, 1.25 or 1.5.
(Plus adding the word 'thread' into a search throws up a lot of hits!)

I could buy a thread guage of course, but it would cost nearly a fiver, get used once then lost

Coarse pitch (the "normal" pitch) for M14 is 2mm.
Fine for M14 is 1.25mm OR 1.5mm.

BUT - most M14 threads used on guns are 1mm pitch (extra fine).
