  • Tanaka SAA hammer problem

So Guys i have a problem heres the situation

When you cock the hammer back it has 3 stages

    Safety
    Half cock
    Full cock

When i cock it back currently it slips, you are meant to feel tension if you go slow, when cocking back to full cock (ready to fire)

however when i go to full cock, then back to half cock, and then back to full cock slowly i can feel that tension again and fires beautifully

    How to fix

Cheers hope i explained it clearly

Close still but an update to anyone thats interested

pro tip never force fire or de cock from half cock

puts too much stress on this piece causing it to chip n get crapped making it miss the spur on the final spin and thus slipping

If the filing doesnt work (either edging if that fails rounding it) if they both fail then i will have to wait till the site i know gets them in stock

if its not that, then wow im stumped cant think what else it would be
