WE M4 GBB Forward Assist

Hello guys!

I need some help with my Forward Assist, it has popped off! unsure how I should go about reattaching it, Known me I will break somthing if I try.

Any advice if greatly appricated!

Is it just the button that's came off? Do you still have it?

If it is and you do, then you need to glue it back on using a strong glue, something in the Araldite or Loctite range will do it.

It'll hold but it may come of again, you could buy a complete replacement for £5 which will include the pawl etc

PM me if you want to know where to get them and I can tell you how to replace the complete unit if you want.

Yeah I still have all the parts.

It was just the button that popped off, pulled the Charging handle back and it just flew off!

I thought about Araldite, but thought I would ask here before going ahead.

I will give the Araldite ago, if that fails I will get a replacment.

It's quite a common problem to be honest.

There are some metal glues in the Araldite range which will be suitable.

Aye, I think I have some metal Araldite in the shed somewhere.

Time to dig it out!
