  • P226 Nozzle that will run on Propane?

So, my 'trusty' TM P226 decided to explode on me today. The loading nozzle split in two.

Granted, TM pistols aren't designed for propane but there must be an aftermarket nozzle out there somewhere that'll stand up to it. Any ideas?

    How about a KJW nozzle?

Their guns dont run properly on anything but green/propane.

Would it be better than the Guarder Enhanced Nozzle?

        Probably the same in fairness.
But im guessing the Guarder version is easier to come by.

no the guarder one is shit ,mine leaked as they are much larger so you dont get a good seal with the piston head.
i tried the original head, a pdi winter , pdi summer and a DYNA. in the end I put the standard tm one back in and used a DYNA head. the shooters design POm muzzles are supposed to be good though.

KJW have very good customer service. I needed some mag o-rings and they shipped them to me for a few dollars.

Email them and tell them that your KJW nozzle has gone and ask for a replacement!

I take it they're compatible then?

Everything I've read suggests that they are, but don't shout at me if they're not.

This is a problem to me... I've recently purchased a TM P226, so I'm guessing this will happen to me eventually as well?

If you don't mind me asking, how long did your nozzle last?

Owch. Looks like I need to start looking for a replacement then... Thanks for that anyway.

yes, but pan, isn't yours all in a guarder frame ect, which does fit a little different, so may have something to do with it.

Hmm, in what way? Do you think the (PCG) slide somehow caused the failure?

I used to have a TM P226 totally stock and ran it on propane for most of the time I had it... never had this problem. I used it on really hot days too... Maybe theres some logic to what hes saying in some weird way!

Might be just a bad 'un. I'll get a Guarder one and see how it goes... Cheers all.
