tm 1911 and tm meu swapping parts

good day to everyone,can anyone tell me if the tm 1911 meu slide and frame will be compatible to the tm 1911?i want to convert my tm 1911 to meu 1911.any reply will be a very big help.thank youy.

Might be a bit late but as far as I know, yup. The MEU is just the plain old 1911A1 with snazzier parts so it should be completely interchangeable.

Everything is compatible bar the sights and bevertail from what I can see.

The hammer off a meu will not go on the 1911 as the hammer on an meu goes into a recess in the beaver tail and the beaver tail is a different shape so it won't go in the 1911 lower frame. As I wanted to do exactly the same.

I have in fact a new black meu frame if you are interested. Let me know.
