stripping down hopup

Right, so, having bougt a new hopup rubber for my WE SCAR GBB (as the stock version 2 one is crap) i need to know how to instal it?

i Can strip the gun down to just the inner barrel and hop assembly no problem at all, but after that i seem to have hit a brick wall, where do i go from there?

or does anyone know a site that has a step by step how to?

yeah i have looked at many of those, but the hop up on my SCAR is completely different. it works with a ring round the barrel which imparts pressure on a ball bearing with in turn pushes the nub up and down.
