Leaky Mag
12 August, 2011, 17:03
Hey guys, I have a leaking Glock 19 mag...tried the old PTF tape fix and it didn't work ( i made the leak worse ) so i've now tried Araldite around the mag butt cap and cut a piece out for the gas filler to still be accessible. If this does't work does anyone else have any ideas!?!?!
p.s not sure if this is the right place to post this really but it said advice! :s
I love the smell of napalm in the morning!

Re: Leaky Mag
Add a few drops of silcone spray on the rubber seals/gas valve and it might need the bolts tighted a bit

Re: Leaky Mag
here is a tip car gasket sealant grey/blue 1. clean around rubber O-ring 2. squirt sealant around O-ring 3. re-fit together and leave for 12 hour then fill.
PS keep mag gased for fewer problems

Re: Leaky Mag
I put bathroom sealer in mine, left it 24 hours and then gassed it, perfect.

if you are refering to the filler valves you can see externally, have you ever tried finding them! they are like gold dust!!!

Nar I'm refering to the actual seals- the tiny o-rings that make up the 'seal' part of the valves! They're tiny but replaceable!! :D
