WE 1911 wount fire after strip
25 August, 2011, 19:26
I bought a project WE 1911, striped and polished it as soon as I got it with the intention of buying anything I need next month but after building it it but is seems to all be there.
I have folowed a video on youtube and put it all back together but the gun will not fire!
Any ideas what i could have done wrong or should check first?
This is the only part that came with the pistol and I have not seen in any takedown or assemble videos?
I can provide pics of anything that might be required for help.
Cheers.

I can try, iv just had a play and compared it to my other 1911 and the only difference seems to be that the firing pin bit is not spring loaded it's just flopping around, could this just be because it's not been put together properly or is there a spring in there? I can't see anywhere for one to go?

Is a we not a clone of a TM too? If so that may be the problem. You may be missing the spring.

WE 1911 are a copy of the TM 5.1 Design so We 1911 parts WONT WORK in a Bell or TM 1911 only the BBH unit, hopup
Also search for MAG replacement spring for TM 1911
