  • Average lifetime of GBB pistol Hop Rubber?

    Hi,

I wonder was is the lifetime of a GBB pistol Hop Rubber as I find that my GBBs seem to have problem adding hop effect to BBs. Perhaps it is because the rubber is a bit oily (but I use propane).
I might have run 3000 BBs to my TM Hi-capa in the last 5 months.
Don't know about my KJW Glock as it was second hand but at least 1000.

If it need replacement was rubber is good? Firefly, Nineball?

    Thanks.

    easy fix mate,

dismantle the guns and clean the hop rubber and dry the inside of the rubber only apply silicone to the outside to aid reinstallation....

the hop usually gets affected in the colder climits mate, hense why you see tm and AEP sales rocket in the winter time

use hot water and fairy liquid to clean it and make sure if drys complete.are you using the silicone oil with the propane as might be dryin out or cracked if not take care.if you need to replace i would recommend the 9ball soft purple one.works very very wel in both my hicappas.
