  • TM FN Five-Seven

Hey guys, I got my first gun today, the afore mentioned TM FN Five-Seven. Absolutely delighted with it, real chuffed

One question I do have though, which gas is best to use? I know that I can use the 134a gas with it, but would the Abbey Ultra gas be ok to use with it too?? Or do I risk breakage/damage to the gun?

Anyone here who has a Five-Seven can offer me some advice please?

    Much appreciated thanks

green gas should be fine in any TM guns

      No, do not use green!!!

It blew one of my seals in the top slide in two mags!

        Seriously...

It's 134A for a reason! Ultra is the highest you should go!

On TM pistols, green will be fine, ejtrent you must've had a bad one, TM pistols will run fine, and better, on green.

A friend of mine nackered some new tm m9 mags using green. He was advised to run them in with low powered gas then use the green .Then again I've used green in my tm 226 mag from the off .

How old are the TM pistols you've tested TKOS?

                    G17 can't take it then,

And the 5-7 is G17 internally, right?

                      Re: TM FN Five-Seven

ive never had a problem on anything using green

sometimes ive used red gas too - though that did eventually blow up my glock 18c after about 6 months was fun though...

TM glock 17 can take it - 2 mates use a tm glock 17 on green lasted a year at least and when i had one i used green fine

I've seen a lad at my skirmish site been running green in this glock for ages, I asked him what make it was...TM.

Trust me, TM pistols take green. They do.

Just for the record, I still wouldn't recommend running them on green, don't see the need, ultra is more efficient.

I'll probably stick with Ultra as the highest gas i'll use just to be on the safe side anyway
