Barrel of to the side

Wondering if any one can help

The barrel on my masada seems to be going off to one side

I decided yesterday to take the hop out and do the hop up mod.

The pins where a major pain in the ass to get out!
So I'm now worried that I've either bent the body, or I accident trod on the barrel and bent it.

It still fires in a straight line and fine.... Just the shots go off to the right!

Any ideas

Check the outer barrel is fitted to the body correctly, could be screwed on lop sided. Happens to M4's no end!

Do you mean the outer adjustable one??

It seems all tight in there...

The only other thing I can think of is going to a shop and seeing what happens when I try a new short barrel in... That way I can tell if it's the barrel or the body is bent....

take your gun apart again and hold various different bits up to a ruler?

the inner barrel is twisted inside the hop unit causing hop on only one part of the bb off to onside of the other, curving the shot more as more hop is applied

Maybe I don't explain clear enough... I'm using my phone and not the easiest to write with.


The bb's are flying out the gun great, going straight, not curving to the side.

The problem is the barrel is not straight, so it is facing to the right when I look down the sights...

From what your telling me it sounds like the outer barrel is bent but the inner barrel is perfectly fine, try the outer barrel up against a straight edge and see if its out of line

yeah from what u say if the bb's are flying straight then the hop is fine it must be your outer barel assembly. if the barrel is fitted correctly then you should be able to notice the bend if its that bad when your looking down your sights

I betook out the hop chamber and it's straight now.

One of the body pins must of been of been pulling it to the side
